The Beyond Ethical Finance project, part of our Future Narratives Lab initiative, and led by Anna Fielding, has been exploring the limitations of the way we currently talk about ethical finance and how we might overcome them.
This initial briefing paper explores how the narratives we currently hold around money and finance act as barriers to the growth of the movement and identifies opportunities to create a more ambitious, engaging alternative.
You can read an introduction to some of the themes of the project in this short article ‘Private shame, public suspicion: the narrative rift that holds back ethical finance’.
